The PTA will assist in delivering therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to support patient rehabilitation and functional recovery. This role requires strong hands-on therapy skills, teamwork, and the ability to support structured rehabilitation programs in a skilled care setting. Key Responsibilities Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training Document patient progress and report updates to the PT Support functional mobility, strength, and rehabilitation activities Educate patients on exercise programs and therapy techniques Ensure safe use of rehabilitation equipment Collaborate with therapy and healthcare teams Maintain accurate clinical documentation Promote patient safety, comfort, and recovery outcomes Requirements Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required Associate degree from an accredited PTA program required Minimum 1 year of PTA experience preferred Current BLS certification required Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work rotating weekly schedule Must comply with facility health and safety requirements Valid government-issued photo identification required
