Various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan Area http://www.wizkidscamps.com Job Title Golf Coach/Associate Job Description The Wiz Kids Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic professional to help coordinate Golf related activities during the summer camp session. Qualifications Prior Golf related coaching experience at the elementary or high school level. Coaching certification in the sport of golf or an advanced degree in Sports Administration is highly preferred. Position Responsibilities The Golf Coach is responsible for teaching fundamental skills as well as more advanced strategy. While assisting the Golf Director, Coaches/Associates chaperone, supervise and guide campers through the day‐to-day activities of the overall camp experience. Develop and lead daily sport-specific drill and game components. Ensure the welfare of campers and positive resolution of camper related issues by communicating clearly and consistently with camp leadership staff Willingness to comply with Suspected Child Abuse Reporting (Subsection (a)(6) of 325 ILCS 5-4). Additional duties as contracted. Work Environment The outdoor Golf activities will take place daily at Calumet Country Club Golf Course (Homewood, IL) or one of our satellite locations. Camp Hours From June through August, camp runs Monday through Thursday and Fridays are designated as field trip days. Specific working hours will be established once the final candidate is selected. Compensation This is a contracted hourly position. Wiz Kids Foundation will present the selected candidate with a competitive contracted rate.
