Our main campus is located in the vibrant Boynton Beach area of Florida, ICHS is dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare professionals through innovative educational approaches.Location: St. Petersburg, FLPurposeThe Clinical Instructor provides direct supervision and instruction to nursing students during their clinical rotations in various patient care environments. This role ensures students develop practical skills, clinical judgment, and professional behaviors necessary for safe and effective patient care.ResponsibilitiesClinical Instruction & SupervisionSupervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing students in clinical settingsDemonstrate and teach best practices in nursing careEnsure student compliance with clinical site policies and proceduresProvide timely, constructive feedback and document student performanceFoster a supportive and inclusive learning environmentCurriculum ImplementationCollaborate with academic leadership to deliver clinical objectives aligned with course outcomesIntegrate evidence-based practices and current nursing standards into instructionParticipate in the development and evaluation of clinical curriculum as neededProfessional Communication & CollaborationServe as a liaison between ICHS, clinical site staff, and studentsMaintain open, professional communication with faculty, administration, and clinical partnersAttend faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activitiesAdministrative DutiesComplete accurate and timely documentation of student attendance, progress, and evaluationsReport any student or site concerns to the appropriate academic leadershipEnsure compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation standardsRequirements:QualificationsEducation / Experience / KnowledgeUnencumbered Florida or Compact State RN License requiredMinimum 4 years of clinical experience as an RN requiredMinimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Experience in clinical instruction, preceptorship, or nursing education preferredRequired SkillsStrong clinical knowledge in nursingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to provide clear, constructive feedback and foster student growthProficiency with electronic documentation and Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in diverse teamsCommitment to upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical conductAdditional RequirementsMust reside within commuting distance of St. PeteThis is not a remote position; on-site presence at clinical locations is requiredAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings as neededAdditional Information:At no time may work be performed, or computer systems accessed, from outside of the U.S. Individuals hired must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
