Now is the time to apply!Compensation$15 hourlyResponsibilitiesParticipate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activitiesWelcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requestsReceive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errorsComplete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructedDevelop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendationsQualificationsPrior food service industry experience is highly desiredCandidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)Displays impeccable time management and organizational skillsProven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentalityDisplay excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkersAbout CompanyHotel Sutter is a historical building located in the heart of downtown Sutter Creek. We have a restaurant serving indoors, on our balcony, as well as out front on our Pallet Cafe. We have 2 bars, one located in our lobby and another downstairs known as our Copper Room. We also have a fully functioning 21-room hotel on our 2nd and 3rd floors. We pride ourselves on providing the best service with a smiling face to our many local guests as well as our year-round tourists.
