Job Title: Controls EngineerLocation: Alpharetta, GADuration: Contract Job Description:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology plus 8 years of experience requiredMaster's Degree in Electrical Engineering plus 5 years of experience requiredQualifications:Must be able to interpret customer specifications.Present clear, detailed designs for production engineers to execute.Experience in the design of low and medium-voltage switchgear.Research new part requirements, read manuals, and contact vendors to ensure successful implementation.Detailed understanding of protective relays, their functions, and proper applications.Basic understanding of PLC / SCADA communications networks and protocols.Have a detailed understanding of NEC, UL, ANSI, and other standards.Basic understanding of generator controls and limitations.Able to understand written instructionsAble to communicate design challenges
