Technical Project Manager (Hybrid – Denver Metro Area) Location: Denver Metro Area. We’re looking for candidates based in Colorado within commuting distance of our Denver (RiNo) office, with at least one in-office day per week. Please note this role is not eligible for fully remote work or relocation support.Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $70k–85k/year.UnionHub is looking for a passionate Technical Project Manager to help manage and support the day-to-day tasks and deployments of our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within technical teams, and possess a solid understanding of DevOps workflows and an ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects effectively. You’ll collaborate with QA to make sure everything is approved for release, manage project transitions, and help shape our overall development process. Key responsibilities include: managing project timelines and deliverables, facilitating team meetings, and coordinating between Product and Engineering to ensure clear communication and smooth project execution.We are particularly excited to meet candidates who have experience working with Azure DevOps and in a Scrum or Agile environment. If you’re passionate about project management, enjoy working in a collaborative team, and are eager to take on new challenges, this is the perfect role for you!Responsibilities:Facilitate meetings with team members to scope workloads, review success criteria, and ensure project timelines stay on track.Collaborate with engineers and product teams to scope out projects in detail and prioritize tasks based on deadlines.Manage communication between Product and Engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.Oversee project releases, write release notes, and manage transitions into production.Partner with QA to ensure all items prepared for release have been properly reviewed and approved.Help reprioritize tasks to ensure we meet key deadlines and deliverables.Take ownership of key projects from ideation to delivery and support, including understanding technical or complex software systems.Required Qualifications:Experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in a technical environment.Familiarity with DevOps workflows and principles.Excellent communication and facilitation skills to manage cross-functional teams and drive project success.Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.Experience using project management software such as Jira or Azure DevOps.Ability to synthesize and scope challenging solutions, from an engineering to a stakeholder perspective.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in release management and overseeing software deployments.Bonus if you have worked in an agile or Scrum-based team environment.Knowledge of technical development workflows and lifecycles (e.g., CI/CD)Who You AreYou’re a curious, motivated engineer who loves learning and building.
