Software Testing & QA Automation Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Testing & QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases, identifying defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to continuous quality improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.Perform manual functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing as needed.Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data based on business and technical requirements.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and resolve quality issues.Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.Execute performance, compatibility, and cross-browser testing where applicable.Analyze test results and prepare quality reports for stakeholders.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Continuously improve testing processes, automation frameworks, and quality standards.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience in software testing and QA automation.Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.Experience with API testing tools including Postman or REST Assured.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in Agile or Scrum environments.Knowledge of SQL and database testing.Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.Top SkillsManual TestingAutomation TestingSelenium WebDriverPlaywright or CypressAPI Testing (Postman, REST Assured)Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#SQL and Database TestingGitJenkins / CI/CDJiraTestNG, JUnit, or PyTestAgile/Scrum MethodologiesSkills: api,software testing,testing,api testing,qa automation,azure,automation,agile,ci,software
