You get the "big" picture and want to contribute accordingly – and that's why you'll have all the opportunity for career growth within our company you'll want.ResponsibilitiesThis position requires a commitment to manage the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on business development and marketing initiativesOther responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of environmental technicians and project managers (must supervise at least 2 full time employees), overseeing environmental services projects and report reviews, preparing proposals for environmental services, managing departmental P&L, and assisting other senior staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactionsThe primary duty of this position is supervision of employees and daily management of the departmentThis position may involve report preparation and project management duties based on the needs of the departmentQualificationsBS in Geology or a discipline related to Environmental Science; MS preferred5-10 years of Geology, Environmental Engineering or related experienceProfessional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license would go a long wayAbout UsECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
