Walker Elliott is working with a private E&P company in Dallas that is seeking a Geotech. This group is offering a competitive cash comp along with some WFH option.This role supports a portfolio of non-operated oil and gas assets by ensuring geological and well data is organized, accurate, and actionable. It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with data, staying organized across multiple projects, and playing a key support role in upstream asset management.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, organize, and maintain geological and well datasets received from operating partners, including logs, cores, maps, and technical reportsUpdate and manage internal databases with drilling, completion, and production informationMaintain and refresh subsurface models and projects (including well paths, directional surveys, and log data) on a regular cadenceSupport the review of drilling proposals, AFEs, and partner-provided updatesAssist geoscience teams with interpretation work, including picking formation tops, building structure maps, and preparing cross sectionsCreate maps, visuals, and technical summaries for internal stakeholders and external partnersRequirementsBS degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related discipline2+ years of experience in an upstream oil and gas or energy-focused roleProficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skillsWorking knowledge of industry tools such as Petrel, Enverus, ComboCurve, ArcGIS, or similar platformsUnderstanding of well data, including logs, seismic, and AFE processesStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage and organize large datasetsDo not apply unless you are authorized to work in the United States for any employer as client company cannot sponsor or transfer visas at this time.Walker Elliott is an Equal Opportunity Employer.For additional information, please email your resume to or apply online.
