Data Engineer

Set Solutions is on the hunt for a Data Engineer for a client in the telecom space. This role is fully remote and a 6 month contract to hire. This client would like to convert at the end of the contract. Ideally need someone with Azure Data Factory, Blob, Tableau, etc. *Responsibilities:* * Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. * Manage and optimize data storage solutions utilizing Azure Blob Storage. * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs. * Develop ETL processes to transform and load data into data warehouses. * Implement data quality and data governance processes. * Create data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau. * Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance. * Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering. *Requirements:* * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * Proven experience working with Azure Data Factory and Azure Blob Storage. * Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell. * Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform. * Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. * Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
