Leveraging your knowledge of the protein market to define a customer base and where Sonoco has the "right to win".What you will be doing:Deliver a minimum of $5MM+ per year of net profitable growth in the thermoformed protein marketStrong multi-channel prospecting strategies and cadenceSuccessfully onboards new customersPrioritizes workload to maximize impact and outputTracks prospecting actives in detail managing leading indicators, not laggingMonitors closely and reports on all activity at each customer and prospective customer regarding leadership changes, expansions, closings, business trends, and all other factors impacting volume and growthMaintains detailed prospect files (share, relative quality, relative price, specifications, contacts, competitor, etc.) on an ongoing basisDevelops action-oriented account plans for key prospectsEstablishes and maintains multi-level contacts at all major existing and prospective accounts expanding relationships beyond themselvesProvides immediate supervisor with sales projections for products and customers within assigned area of responsibility for use in developing sales budgetsProvides marketing with input for use in developing strategic plansProficient with technology and management of - remote meetings, Microsoft, CRM, LinkedIn, Salesforce, Mintel, and VidyardAssists division marketing with trade shows, conventions, and trade association meetings as requestedAssists, as needed, with the training of division sales and marketing personnelSubmits expense reports, reports of call, and itineraries on a weekly basis and all other reports on schedule.Protects assets, confidential and restricted information, developments, specifications, materials, legal obligations, and other such data in contacts with external parties.Complies with all company policies.This is a remote position.
