Commercial Lines Account Manager

Position Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager- small business Position Summary: The Commercial Account Manager will , interact with existing & potential clients on a day-to-day basis Job Responsibilities: o Regularly connect with appropriate business contacts for potential opportunities and increase sales on existing business by account rounding o Contribute to brokerage revenue goals by promoting and selling insurance products and services, rounding accounts. o Provide a high level of customer service to all clients whether on the phone, in person, via email or written correspondence o Assess client needs and provide advice on appropriate coverage levels and products. o Respond to telephone calls and correspondence from existing or potential customers in a timely manner o Provide all customers with the appropriate products to mitigate risks and maintain a profitable book of business. o Upsell additional product offerings to existing customers in order to increase sales opportunities and meet customer needs. o Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues o Provide after-sales customer service and maintain contact with customers, periodically reviewing their needs and updating their files. o Attend continuing industry training programs as well as obtain necessary designations. Qualifications: Education – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the Commercial Insurance space Required Job Skills o A knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite , AMS experience a plus o Strong customer service skills and communication skills (both verbal and written). This position sits in Providence with ample parking at a brand new office.
