Adecco is hiring for a Machine Operator in North Andover, MA! This is a temp to perm opportunity on 1st shift.Pay rate: $21-23 per hourSchedule: Monday-Thursday 6am-430pmCore Duties and ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Operating, monitoring, and controlling mechanical equipmentSetup and Calibration: Preparing machines for operation by performing setups, setting adjustments, calibration, and cleaning.Production Monitoring: Ensuring the continuous, efficient running of production machinery and managing raw material input.Quality Control: Inspecting finished products or parts using tools like gauges or calipers to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance checks, cleaning, and resolving minor equipment issues to prevent downtime.Safety Adherence: Following strict occupational safety protocols, including wearing protective equipment and maintaining a clean work area, to avoid hazards.Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate production logs, documentation of output, and records of machine downtime or defects.Common Skills and RequirementsMechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of machinery and tools.Attention to Detail: Ability to spot defects and ensure precise measurements.Technical Skill: Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, or technical instructions.Physical Stamina: Capacity to work on feet for long periods and lift materials.Troubleshooting: Ability to quickly assess and repair, or report, technical issuesPay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
