This role is responsible for managing the full proposal lifecycle in a fully virtual environment. The Senior RFP Specialist partners closely with the sales team and other cross-functional teams (strategy consultants, custom solutions, specialized product sales teams, consultants, etc.) to create clear, compelling, and fully compliant responses that align with client needs, highlight FranklinCovey's value proposition, and uphold our brand and marketing standards. This role combines strong project management, writing, and collaboration skills to ensure proposals are accurate, consistent, and differentiated in the marketplace.Essential Job FunctionsLead the end-to-end proposal development process from initial RFP/RFI receipt through final submission, including owning and drafting content for all required sections and supporting post-submission activities in a fully virtual environment.Analyze RFPs and pursuit requirements to identify compliance needs, evaluation criteria, risks, and strategic win opportunities.Manage a dynamic pipeline of RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, effectively prioritizing and tracking multiple projects at various stages of development in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Coordinate all proposal production and submission activities to ensure timely delivery and strict adherence to RFP/RFI instructions, formatting standards, and compliance requirements.Develop clear, concise, and compelling proposal content that is fully compliant, effectively communicates key win themes, and differentiates FranklinCovey in competitive pursuits.Provide exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading support to enhance overall quality, consistency, and accuracy of proposal deliverables that are tailored to specific clients.Ensure all proposal and RFP-related deliverables consistently uphold FranklinCovey's brand, voice, and marketing standards across content, design, and presentation.Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, legal, and product development, to ensure alignment on client needs and deliverables for RFPs.Basic Qualifications5+ years of experience leading proposal development efforts for complex, competitive RFPs/RFIs/RFQs/MSAsBachelor's or advanced degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferredOR equivalent combination of experience and educationPreferred Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, matrixed proposal teams without direct authorityExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and a high volume of competing prioritiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills; confident collaborating with sales teams and cross-functional teamsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality, consistency, and complianceDemonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, content tailoring, and compliance checks while applying strong judgment and human review to ensure accuracy and brand/voice consistencyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essentialBenefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA, employee stock purchasing program, 401(k), paid time off, holiday pay, and more.
