This role includes coordinating and supervising department operations, administering physical agents prescribed by physicians, and maintaining performance improvement activities within the department. The Physical Therapist will also assist in formulating the budget, evaluate department performance versus budget, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.ResponsibilitiesMaintain efficient and effective department operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory laws and standards.Compile and organize data using Microsoft Office Applications.Document patient care and treatment accurately according to current standards and policies.Assess and evaluate treatment effects, recommending changes to physicians as necessary.Train personnel utilizing on-the-job training for nursing and other hospital staff.Consult other departments to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities.Ensure safety and cleanliness of department equipment and space, making recommendations for improvements as needed.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureThree (3) or more years of previous experience in physical therapy preferred.Current California licensure or certification as a physical therapist.Current BCLS certification.Knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
