Career Connections Recruiting is partnering with a respected, mission-driven nonprofit provider to hire a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for a school-based ABA program in Hershey, PA. About the Opportunity
This is a school-based Behavioral Health Technician position supporting students with autism in a highly structured educational environment. You will work as part of a collaborative clinical and educational team, implementing individualized behavior plans and IEP goals using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The program is designed to support both students and staff, with clear expectations, strong supervision, and a team-first culture.
What You’ll Be Doing
Work directly with students with autism in a school-based setting
Implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals using ABA strategies
Support behavior regulation, communication, social skills, and daily living routines
Collect and document behavioral data accurately and consistently
Collaborate with Behavior Consultants, teachers, and support staff
Maintain ethical, professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Use trained crisis intervention strategies when required
Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
Schedule & Structure
Year-round position
Monday–Friday school schedule
Full-time or part-time options available
Paid training during scheduled school breaks
