Timesheet Specialist Jobs

Timesheet Specialist Kearney & Company is currently seeking a Timesheet Specialist to join our hybrid team in our Alexandria, VA office. The Timesheet Specialist will be responsible for the following:Process weekly timesheets for 1200 employees and subcontractorsProcess labor assignments and correcting timesheetsRespond to timesheet inquiries from employeesEnforce timesheet policies by implementing strong internal controlsWork with Payroll and HR department to ensure personnel information is accurately reflected and processed in Costpoint.Manage automated processes like daily floor check and timesheet status on a weekly basis.Research and resolve complex timesheet issues and inquiries.Understand and apply knowledge of employee classes, pay, and leave types.Educate and train the timesheet system, policies, and procedures to employees (weekly new hires)Process prior period timesheet corrections twice daily.Qualifications:Minimum 1 years of relevant experience with Bachelor Degree OR 5 years of experience without a degreeStrong understanding of National Labor LawsExperience processing timesheets in systems similar to CostpointProficiency with MS Excel skillsAbility to work onsite 2 days a week in Alexandria, VAAbility to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)Preferred Qualifications:Experience using Deltek Costpoint 8 and Deltek Time & Expense softwareThe expected salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
