DescriptionSpecialization:Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sports MedicineJob Summary:HCA Healthcare and Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking to recruit a PM&R physician to a premier Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice with a 50 year history of patient care excellence. The incoming PM&R physician would join a 29 member orthopedic team, and will work closely with several board certified and fellowship-trained subspecialty surgeons, Primary Care Sports Medicine physicians, Advanced Practice Providers and Doctors of Physical Therapy.Qualifications / Responsibilities:Physiatrist with preferably fellowship-training and/or subspecialty certification in sports medicine or interventional spine.Proficiency in lumbar and cervical spinal injections is a plus.Board certification or board eligibility is required.Ability to obtain / maintain a Texas medical license with a clear / active standing is required.Monday - Friday position with no call coverage required.The incoming recruit will be expected to work in the practice's satellite locations surrounding and including the city of Corpus Christi.Incentives/Benefits:Attractive base salary.Bonus incentive package.Benefits include 401K pension and profit sharing plan.Corpus Christi Medical Center will financially assist the new recruit with potential relocation and marketing allowance, or other support as decided between the hospital and the practice.About the Hospital:Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 4-hospital campus system licensed for 631 beds and currently operating with 421 beds.
