Senior System Engineer
Summary/Objective: The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining/implementing effective and efficient infrastructure necessary to facilitate the needs of the company. This includes, but not limited to, LDAP (Active Directory), Email (Exchange), Cloud based infrastructure (Microsoft/Office 365), Asset Management, server/client OS and third-party application patching.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and implement Microsoft-based systems and solutions.
Develop and maintain system documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
Provide technical support for Microsoft-based systems, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security management.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure successful integration of Microsoft technologies with other systems and applications.
Conduct research on emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend solutions to enhance the organization's infrastructure and systems.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Microsoft-based systems and solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to Microsoft technologies.
Provides technical consultation, training and support to IT staff as designated by manager.

Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft-based systems and solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Microsoft/Office 365, PowerShell
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills are vital as this person will be interacting with many departments within the business.
Microsoft certifications, such as MCSA or MCSE, are preferred.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously as priorities can change very quickly.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
