They now have 70+ offices worldwide and 4,000+ employees.Come join them and be a part of a dynamic global organization where together, we can revolutionize the hospitality software market!Job Summary:The Chief of Sales - North America will lead and oversee all sales efforts and the sales team within the region, driving revenue growth and ensuring the team consistently achieves and exceeds revenue goals. This strategic leadership role will develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, cultivate strong client relationships, and foster a high-performance sales culture.Key Areas of Responsibility: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and campaigns that align with business objectives and market opportunities. Lead and manage the sales team and Sales Operations Manager to achieve and exceed revenue goals through strategic planning, coaching, and effective execution. Partner with stakeholders to develop and approve individual business plans for direct territories and independent distributors, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. Assess and monitor the performance of defined territories against approved business plans, developing action plans to address underperformance quickly and effectively. Oversee the development, evaluation, and alignment of strategic business plans, including the successful launch of new products, to drive growth and profitability. Establish and lead regular operating reviews to communicate results, address challenges, and gather input from key stakeholders. Recruit, retain, and manage a high-performing sales team by providing ongoing coaching, development, and motivation to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the hospitality technology sector, identifying growth opportunities and staying informed about market trends and competitor activities. Actively participate in negotiations, contracting, and enterprise sales strategies to support the team in closing high-value and complex deals. Collaborate with internal departments, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success, to align sales strategies and deliver seamless client experiences. Analyze sales performance data to generate actionable insights, refine strategies, and optimize team efficiency and effectiveness. Manage the regional sales budget to ensure efficient resource allocation and maximize ROI.Requirements / Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum 10 years experience in Business Development or Sales, within the hospitality or technology sectors. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating high-performing sales teams, including hiring, coaching, and succession planning. In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry to include technology, products and services. Exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities with a demonstrated track record of success. Excellent negotiation, contracting, and enterprise sales skills, with a track record of closing high-value and complex deals. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales performance analytics for tracking and optimizing team outcomes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales data and develop actionable insights. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support team members and meet with clients.
