From bathing, dressing, to meals and companionship, you’ll be a source of strength and support to those in need.Interim HealthCare® is hiring PCAs, CNAs, and DSPs to work Full-time (30-40 hours weekly) in the Richmond/Bon Air area. The required shifts for this position are 8am to 4pm and 12pm to 8pm. You MUST be able to work either shift as needed Monday to Friday and every other weekend. If you have a compassionate heart and a desire to make a career out of caring for others, you are made for this!Our PCAs /CNAs / DSPs enjoy some excellent benefits: A pay rate of 17.50 to $19 hourly Build your skills with online training and earn CEUs Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University Referral programAs a group home PCA /CNA / DSP, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do: Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, some transportation, and companionship Working with individuals to improve self-reliance Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways Develop meaningful relationships and connections with clients to make them feel cared for and included in the community Follow all health and safety protocolALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB: High school diploma or equivalent a minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare facility (experience caring for more 5-10 patients at once) Valid CPR certification from The American Red Cross or American Heart Association (no online course accepted) Covid-19 vaccination card Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Why Work for Interim HealthCare?Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare is the nation’s first home care company and a leading employer of Personal Care Aides (PCAs)/Caregivers.
