The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and solving mechanical, electrical, and operational issues while supporting a high-quality production environment.Why join us?Competitive salary based on experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance options.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Job DetailsKey ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on food processing equipment, production machinery, and utilities to ensure consistent product quality and safety.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to quickly resolve issues and minimize production downtime.Assist with installation, setup, and modification of new or existing equipment while adhering to food safety standards.Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, inspections, and equipment history, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements.Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with food safety protocols.Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintenance processes in a food manufacturing environment.Follow all safety protocols, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company standards at all times.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field within a food production or manufacturing environment.Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems commonly used in food processing.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by production schedules.Understanding of food safety regulations and practices is a plus.Interested in hearing more?
