Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.We are seeking an IAM Security Engineer on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote, East Coast preferred.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate discovery and engagement with application owners for onboardingConduct interviews, working sessions, and onboarding documentationIdentify onboarding risks and develop mitigation plans, escalating as neededCoordinate troubleshooting efforts to prepare applications for onboardingProvide status updates and manage escalations throughout the processAnalyze log data to identify relevant events and map to data modelsDevelop and configure Splunk add-ons to parse, tag, and structure security dataTest and validate Splunk configurations, ensuring alignment with standards and data modelsRelease onboarded applications to production environmentsDevelop and execute test plans and test cases for application functionalityCollaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve technical issuesMaintain detailed testing and configuration documentationSkills And Qualifications3+ years of overall experience, including at least 1 year in engineering or architecture within IAM or related InfoSec domains1+ year of hands-on experience with IAM technologiesStrong understanding of IAM concepts such as authentication, authorization, and RBACDeep knowledge of Splunk Cloud and Splunk Processing Language (SPL)Experience working in cloud environments (PaaS)Experience analyzing log data and working with security event dataFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Jira AlignStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize work based on risk and timelinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholdersWe offer a competitive salary range for this position.
