Business Systems Coordinator

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is looking for a proactive Business Systems Coordinator to join our team. he Business Systems Coordinator supports the development and rollout of internal software tools, dashboards, and digital workflows within the Transportation Entity. This role bridges day-to-day operational needs and technology solutions — helping build reporting tools, coordinate project implementations, analyze data, and train staff on new systems.Dashboards & ToolsBuild and maintain internal dashboards using platforms such as Claude, Power BI, or ExcelTranslate operational needs into user-friendly reporting toolsTest and iterate on new software before department-wide rolloutMaintain any process changes and systems administrationProject LeadCoordinate technology implementations from scoping through go-liveTrack project timelines, tasks, and action items across stakeholdersDesign and own the user experience and functionality of the project Occasionally work with external vendors to coordinate deliverablesData & ReportingCollect and organize data to support operational and performance reportingProduce regular and ad hoc reports highlighting trends and KPIsTraining & AdoptionDevelop training materials and guides for new tools and systemsSupport staff onboarding and serve as a first-line resource for tool questionsRequirementsMinimumAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Operations, or related field; or equivalent experience1-2 years of experience with data, software tools, or project coordination (internships considered)Experience building or working within dashboards or reporting toolsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlinesClear communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical staffWork in office PreferredExperience with AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) for workflow or document automationFamiliarity with transportation or public sector operationsExposure to project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com)Basic proficiency in SQL or PythonBenefitsThe AmeriLux benefits package includes a nationally award winning zero-dollar deductible healthcare plan created to ensure peace of mind and comprehensive care for all A-Team family members.Our onsite healthcare clinic, free to all team members, provides convenient access to high-quality medical care with a personalized touch from physicians who take the time to get to know you.
