Windows Systems Information Assurance Administrator (4244)
SMX is seeking a Windows Systems Information Assurance Administrator to support our customer with collecting IA artifacts in support of the Navy RMF process for systems in their hybrid on-premise and GovCloud data center. These artifacts include STIG checklists, ACAS scans and other various items supporting the assessment and authorization and continuous monitoring processes. This is a hybrid role based at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Monitor NHDSM ticketing systemMonitor/Manage/Schedule/Forecast Upcoming IA WorkWork with a large variety of Data Center teams to alleviate Cyber findings and concernsAttend collaboration meetings to address STIG/EvaluateSTIG discrepanciesACAS scanning and reportsSupport vulnerability detection, remediations, and mitigationsRequired Skills & Experience Clearance Required: SecretMust be eligible for upgrade to Top Secret2-4 years of Windows Administration experienceExperience in DoD Information Assurance/Cyber policy and procedures to include hardening of systems, implementing STIGs, and scanningKnowledge of NIST guidelines and Risk Management Framework (RMF)Experience with administering Windows/Linux operating systems Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices, including STIG checklists and SCAP scanningDoD 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) (Examples of minimum acceptable certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, G SEC, Security+ CE, SSCP)Detail-oriented and able to work multiple assignments autonomously and in a team setting Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplaceDesired Skills & Experience: Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation is desiredExperience with ACAS Security Center is desiredExperience with PDQ Management Software is desiredExperience with Microsoft Windows Sever Update Services (WSUS) is desiredApplication Deadline: 6/16/2025#cjpost The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
