As a Full Stack Developer on the Technology Zone team, you will be responsible for delivering enhancements on techzone.ibm.com translating stakeholder requirements into features ensuring an incredible user experience. You will also be responsible for continuous support of the platform through defect fixes and regular updates.Your Role and Responsibilities Create Web UI designs to fit end user expectations. Create API’s and perform development and application testing activities. Translate business requirements into solutions. Use application development methodology's & tools. Execute in an agile development shop. Use of Cloud services, GitHub and CI/CD techniques. Solid experience in ReactJS, NextJS, CSS, and HTML.Required Technical and Professional Expertise Minimum 3 years of experience as an application developer with exposure to both frontend and backend development. Extensive knowledge of Web development tools and techniques. Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5. Experience in developing effective, performant, and dynamic web pages. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing tools. Proficiency in software release management. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks.Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise Experience in JS libraries such as ReactJS, NextJS, etc. Knowledge of ElasticSearch, MongoDb, and Web services. Experience in Package Management software such as NPM and YARN. Knowledge of RedHat OpenShift. Experience with popular languages such as JavaScript, Golang, Rust, and Python. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of user interface and user experience design principles. Sense of urgency and good time management skills. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
