We are seeking a motivated individual to join our company as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. As part of our team, you oversee and document the receiving of packages, parcels, and supplies, store items in the appropriate areas, and prepare items for shipping. This is a position that requires a highly organized personality. You must pay close attention to small details while managing the logistics of a high volume of items entering and leaving the facility. Job Duties:Ensure accuracy of all shipping documents, gather, and maintain all data relative to shipping activitiesCreate packing lists for all outgoing shipmentsCollect all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper record keeping system and data baseKeep digital records including images, packing lists, BOL, POD Schedule inbound and outbound freightContact carrier representatives about issues, instructions for loading or unloading productsMatch all inbound and outbound BOL, Sales Orders, and PosEnsure all inbound and outbound freight is properly received in the system, stored, loaded, in a timely mannerManage return processingMaintain shipping suppliesOperate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with company safety guidelinesMaintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environmentSetup layout and ensure efficient space utilizationInventory tracking and reportingCleaning and crating finished panelsCreating packing lists and setting up shipments with truck linesLoading crated panels via forkliftOther duties as assigned by managementRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTwo plus years of experience in carpentry or construction industry or roles preferred Two-plus years of experience operating a forklift requiredIntermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite requiredHigh levels of organizational and time management skills requiredHigh levels of analytical, observational, and active listening skills requiredAbility to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check requiredAbility to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more requiredAbility to sit, stand, and walk for four-plus hours at a time requiredAlignment with company core values requiredBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, HSA, term life, AD&D, STD, LTD100% medical premium paid for by Panelmatic for the employee-only level medical coverage80% paid for by Panelmatic and 20% paid for by the employee on all other level medical coverage (ie employee plus child, employee plus spouse, family)401KScholarships, educational reimbursement, paid volunteerism, and paid personal and professional development providedPTO and paid holidays providedCareer advancement opportunities Competitive wagesFamily-friendly environment with average employee tenure above five years
