Professional practice is in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team. A background in Orthopedic Medicine or Sports Medicine is ideal. Compensation: $55-$60 per hour Primary Responsibilities: Interview patients for health history and perform physical examinationOrder and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory testsDocument H & P, progress notes, and treatment plansAct as liaison between patients and physicians to coordinate recommended patient care as well as pre- and post-operative careCaring for patients in a clinical settingParticipate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement meetingsOther duties as assigned RequirementsEducation/Training -Master of Science degree or higher, with completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant CertificationLicense/Certification - Registered and currently recorded with the Pennsylvania Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.Orthopedic and Neuro experience is a plus Physical/Mental Requirements Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.Diversity StatementExcelsia Injury Care is an equal opportunity employer.
