In your role, you will:
With versight create deliverables to supprt Bmbardier new aircraft designs or mdificatins to avinics systems such as
System schematics
Supplier requirement documents
System descriptins
Interface control dcuments
Wiring diagrams
Certificatin plans to FAA, TCCA and EASA standards.
Issue papers
Functinal test requirements or test plans
Test reports
Design compliance reports
Review installatin drawings, qualificatin test data and reports
Decmpse internal or external custmer statements to work into detailed requirements
Analyze grund and flight test data to verify system perfrmance and functinality
Research specificatins fr cmpnents selectins
Supprt change management thrugh research, concepts, design reviews, trade studies, impact analysis, and implementatin
Work with suppliers and internal custmers to investigate, troublesht and reslve aircraft build or test issues
Support internal and external design reviews and prgram governance sessins
Show compliance t 14CFR Part 25 FAA, TCCA, and EASA certificatin requirements.
As ur ideal candidate,
Yu will hld a Bachelr f Science in Electrical r Aerspace Engineering r equivalent.
Yu will have a minimum f 5 years’ experience in avinics system design r a related field (r ten years if a nn-graduate)
Yu will have a wrking knwledge f FAA, TCCA and EASA Part 25 certificatin requirements
Yu will have a wrking knwledge f system safety prcesses.
Yu must have the ability t interpret sftware dcumentatin including lgic diagrams
Yu will be familiar with RTCA D-160, D-178 and D-254 standards
Yu will be prficient with MS ffice (MS Wrd, Excel, Pwer Pint, Access).
Experience with AutCAD is als preferred.
Yu must exhibit excellent written and verbal cmmunicatin skills.
Yu will demnstrate interpersnal skills necessary t establish and maintain effective wrking relatinships with c-wrkers, emplyees, management, and suppliers.
Yu must be self-mtivated and be able t crdinate multiple activities and manage time effectively.
Yu must be authrized t wrk in the US
