Project Surveyor
Project SurveyorArtheon Inc is currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor in New York, NY covering the five boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island) with flexibility to cover some projects in Northern New Jersey. This position is an office position, although requires some field visits on occasion. This position will typically report to a Project Manager or director of surveying. The candidate must be experienced in field and office surveying and must possess a professional surveying license or can become licensed within 1 year of being hired.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing field data collection to ensure accurate collection of data and mappingOverseeing office efforts to ensure accurate processing and mappingWriting survey reports, control reports, and project deliverablesQA/QC of surveying products and dataReviewing field data and office processing, ensuring accuracy requirements are met and coverage of limits is metDiscuss with field crew daily to determine the project status and help move the projects along.Ensuring everyone fully understands each scope and project and follows the scope closely.
