Application Developer with Security Clearance

Please note you must have an ACTIVE TS/SCI with a FULL SCOPE POLYSummary We’re looking for a Software Developer to join a collaborative team focused on both enhancing existing applications and building new solutions from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in the full software development lifecycle—from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support. You’ll work primarily with Java, Spring, and modern front-end technologies like Angular, contributing to scalable, user-focused applications while partnering closely with teammates, stakeholders, and end users. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with an emphasis on clean code, continuous improvement, and strong engineering practices like code reviews, testing, and DevOps-driven deployments. Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities Designing, programming/developing, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools, both existing andpotentially new in the future Analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and costconstraints Collaborating with teammates, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new program features Developing unit and integration tests, in addition to participating in functional and regression tests to ensureprograms will produce the desired results and that instructions are correct Correcting errors by making the appropriate changes and then re-checking the program to ensure the desiredresult was produced Participating in code reviews by reviewing and incorporating feedback from teammates as well as providingfeedback to others based on existing standards and recommended programming practices Deploying code to development, test, and production environments using existing DevOps infrastructure/tools Reviewing help desk messages periodically and working with other teams to troubleshoot and resolveproduction issues Organizing and maintaining documentation of application development and subsequent revisions, so others areable to understand the program Required Experience, Skills, & Technologies Strong Java Programming/development Skills, With Hands-on Experience Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework, preferably Angular Experience with, or knowledge of, the Spring Framework and RESTful services Experience with, or knowledge of, SQL and ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPA Experience with Git branching and merging within a team to manage source code Strong ability to manage competing priorities and communication to multiple stakeholders
