Electromechanical Supervisor
Job TitleJob Overview: Pay Range: $68.5hr - $72.5hrSupervise installation activities ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, stakeholders, and project teams.Review and implement safety documentation and ensure adherence throughout project execution.Ensure all equipment and tools are in proper working condition and meet certification requirements.Conduct pre work briefings and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.Monitor site safety, report hazards, and support incident investigations.Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure proper waste management practices.Provide technical support and guidance during installation activities.Ensure installation is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.Maintain accurate documentation and update site records regularly.Support quality inspections and ensure compliance with quality plans.Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress against milestones.Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays.Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely availability and proper storage of equipment.Requirements/Must Have:Strong experience in electromechanical installation and supervision.Knowledge of high voltage systems and electrical equipment installation.Experience with safety standards and site compliance practices.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong coordination and communication skills.Experience in quality inspection and documentation processes.Understanding of project scheduling and critical path management.Experience:Experience working on HVDC converter or switching stations, onshore or offshore.Experience with transformers, converters, and AC systems.Experience in cable installation including high voltage and low voltage systems.Experience with main circuit equipment such as breakers, reactors, and arresters.Experience with GIS or AIS installations.Responsibilities:Ensure safe and compliant execution of all installation activities.Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to meet project objectives.Monitor progress and report updates to project teams.Support quality assurance and inspection activities.Provide technical assistance and resolve installation issues.Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of equipment.Assist in project close out and documentation of lessons learned.Skills:Electromechanical supervision and installation.Safety and compliance management.Technical problem solving and troubleshooting.Project coordination and scheduling.Quality assurance and inspection.Communication and teamwork.Qualification And Education:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
