Currently operating and servicing a variety of customers in the Metro-Detroit area with the outlook of growth in further markets. Big Wheels fleet of day cab, sleeper, and 53' dry van can tailor to any customer need.What we offer:Paid Per Move! Flat Rate/Mileage Pay. Make up to $325 daily!Monday – Friday with potential weekendsHome Daily50-60 hour work weeksHealth, Dental & Vision Benefits after 90 daysPTOPaid HolidaysBoth 1st & 2nd shift available.RESPONSIBILITIES:Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport freight to and from customer locations.Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.Follow all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.Secure and handle freight properly (may include loading/unloading depending on the employer).Maintain accurate electronic or paper logs, delivery records, and documentation.Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.Adhere to schedules while practicing safe driving habits at all times.REQUIREMENTS:Must be at least 21 years of ageClass A CDL6 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the last yearClean driving record with proven safe-driving historyNo DUI/OWI in the last 5 yearsNo more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 yearsNo more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years
