Job Description JOB PostingJOB TITLE: BartenderDEPARTMENT: Deep Six or Patio or Dining RoomREPORTS TO: General ManagerPOSITION PURPOSE:The Bartenders are responsible for taking orders and serving food and drinks to customers with a positive attitude and ensuring that the bar is served properly, and all payments are collected.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Take drink and food orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitudeKnowledge of the menu with the ability to upsell and make suggestionsAccurately count inventory on the last day of the monthEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree preferredRestaurant or customer service experience preferredWorking knowledge of sanitation proceduresMust have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy seasonWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to thirty (30) poundsMust be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergencyMust be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionallyMust be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThis document provides descriptive information about the above Suntex Marinas position.
