A leading global manufacturing organization is seeking a Director of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to drive enterprise-wide safety strategy across multiple regions. This person will be tasked with building and enhancing a global EHS framework, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture across operations. It’s an excellent opportunity for a seasoned EHS leader to make a measurable impact on global operations.The RoleDevelop and lead a global EHS strategy, including policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with international regulationsDrive continuous improvement across key EHS performance metrics (e.g., TRIR, LTIR, incident reduction)Champion a proactive safety culture through leadership, communication, and employee engagement initiativesOversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions across sitesPartner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to integrate EHS into core business processes and decision-makingThe CandidateBachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, safety engineering, or industrial hygiene10+ years of EHS experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environmentProven experience deploying and scaling global EHS programs across multiple regionsStrong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change at all organizational levelsKnowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles and familiarity with manufacturing and production environments
