Assist the Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing commercial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.2. Collaborate with the project team, clients, and stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.3. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure project requirements are met.4. Coordinate and supervise the work of the construction team, including subcontractors and laborers.5. Maintain a detailed project schedule, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.6. Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss project updates, challenges, and solutions.7. Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.8. Manage and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating to the Project Manager when necessary.9. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.10. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and constructive feedback.Qualifications1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on multi-family projects.3. Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Assistant Superintendent, or Project Engineer in the construction industry.4. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.5. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.6. Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and problem-solving.7. Excellent team leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to motivate and inspire team members.8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information to a variety of stakeholders.9. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.10. Proficiency in project management software and tools.11. Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.12. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.13.
