Hi,Our client is looking for a Data Center Migration Wave Lead project in Remote below is the detailed requirement.Job positing Title: Data Center Migration Wave Lead Location: RemoteJob Description:The Data Center Migration Wave Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing assigned migration waves as part of large‑scale data center migration or consolidation programs. This role owns end‑to‑end delivery of migration waves, ensuring activities are completed safely, on schedule, and with minimal business disruption.The Wave Lead works closely with Migration Architects, Application Teams, Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Operations teams to deliver successful migrations and ensure readiness for transition to steady‑state operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn planning and execution of assigned data center migration waves.Coordinate migration activities across compute, network, storage, security, and application teams.Develop detailed wave plans including scope, sequence, dependencies, and timelines.Validate readiness of source and target environments prior to migration execution.Coordinate cutover activities, maintenance windows, and rollback plans.Track and manage migration risks, issues, and dependencies for assigned waves.Ensure adherence to migration runbooks, standards, and change management processes.Provide real‑time coordination during migration execution and cutover windows.Validate post‑migration success criteria and address defects or stabilization issues.Ensure proper documentation, sign‑offs, and handover to operations teams.Report wave progress, status, and issues to program leadership.Required Skills & ExperienceMigration & Delivery SkillsStrong experience delivering data center migrations or large infrastructure changesSolid understanding of data center infrastructure (compute, network, storage, security)Experience coordinating multi‑team, time‑bound migration activitiesFamiliarity with data center cutover and rollback planningTechnical & Operational SkillsWorking knowledge of virtualization and server platformsUnderstanding of network and security dependencies during migrationsExperience working in production and change‑controlled environmentsSoft SkillsStrong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to make decisions under pressure during cutover windowsHigh attention to detail and ownership mindsetCertifications (Preferred)ITIL / PMP or equivalentData Center, Infrastructure, or Cloud certifications (nice to have)
