Project Assistant Location: Matthews, NCCompany: Precision PlumbingPosition SummaryPrecision Plumbing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to support our Project Management team. This role is critical to the successful execution of projects, providing administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Construction and Project Managers.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction administration, experience with industry-standard software, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer and direct incoming calls while handling inquiries professionallyProvide administrative support to the Vice President of ConstructionSupport Project Managers with day-to-day project coordinationDevelop and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, vendors, and internal teamsManage and maintain project documentation, job files, and digital recordsOversee Procore and ensure accurate project data and documentationMaintain bid schedules and assist with project setup (job initialization)File Notices to NC Lien Agent for applicable projectsRequest and manage Certificates of Insurance for clients, subcontractors, and vendorsCompile and distribute safety documentation as neededMaintain job folders in ShareFile and ensure documentation is organized and up to datePrint and manage construction drawings as requiredCoordinate permitting with appropriate county/city agenciesRequest, track, and organize submittalsSchedule inspections and track completionIssue master agreements and work ordersManage subcontractor databaseCompile and distribute project close-out documentationAssist with blueprint and fixture schedule review, including material takeoffs and orderingPerform additional administrative and project-related duties as assignedQualificationsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience with Procore and Bluebeam requiredStrong knowledge of construction documents, including blueprints and fixture schedulesStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional phone presence and customer service mindsetAbility to multitask, prioritize, and work with minimal supervisionHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detailSelf-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to perform under pressure and manage multiple deadlinesMaintain confidentiality of company and client informationRequirementsHigh school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role within the construction industryCurrent Notary Commission preferred or ability to obtainWhy Precision Plumbing?At Precision Plumbing, we are committed to quality, safety, and building strong partnerships in the communities we serve.
