Professional practice is in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team.Primary Responsibilities:Interview patients for health history and perform physical examinationOrder and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory testsDocument H & P, progress notes, and treatment plansAct as liaison between patients and physicians to coordinate recommended patient care as well as pre- and post-operative careCaring for patients in both the clinic and hospital settingParticipate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement meetingsOther duties as assignedRequirementsEducation/Training - Master of Science degree or higher, with completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant ProgramLicense/Certification - Certified as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Orthopedic experience is a plusPhysical/Mental RequirementsSitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.Diversity StatementExcelsia Injury Care is an equal opportunity employer.
