As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for the final line of defense in product quality. This role requires a high level of self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining clear communication with the 1st shift management team to ensure a seamless transition of operations. Quality Inspector Primary Responsibilities include:Precision Measurement: Utilize hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and tolerances.Visual Inspection: Conduct detailed visual checks to identify surface defects, irregularities, or non-conformities in finished products.Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately document all inspection data using Microsoft Excel and upload results to specialized customer portals for client review.Independent Auditing: Work as a self-starter to manage your daily inspection queue, prioritizing tasks to meet production deadlines without direct supervision.Shift Coordination: Communicate effectively with the 1st shift manager to discuss quality trends, recurring issues, or specific project requirements.Non-Conformance Tracking: Identify and document any non-conforming materials to ensure they are isolated and addressed immediately.Quality Inspector Desired Skills and Experience include:Required Experience: 6 months or more of Quality Assurance (QA) or Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.Technical Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience navigating online customer portals for data entry.Measurement Tools: Preferred experience with precision instruments including micrometers, calipers, and various gauges.Self-Motivation: A proven track record of being independently motivated and able to stay productive in a 2nd shift environment.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills for clear reporting and inter-shift coordination.Reliability: Ability to commit to a consistent 2nd shift schedule with a strong focus on punctuality.Join Us.
