Facility: Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation CenterPosition: Medical Records / Central SupplyLocation: Boynton Beach, FloridaShift: Full Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMSalary: $25 - $27 per hourJoin Our TeamAt Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Records / Central Supply Specialist to join our team. In this dual role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate health records while ensuring our facility is fully stocked and organized to meet the needs of staff and residents.Key ResponsibilitiesMedical RecordsOversee and maintain the medical records department in compliance with facility policies and regulations.Protect resident health information, ensuring confidentiality at all times.Retrieve, file, and organize medical documentation both manually and electronically.Review, assemble, and verify charts for accuracy and completion.Coordinate with departments to resolve incomplete or inaccurate records.Prepare and provide records for insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, and VA as required.Respond to phone inquiries and prepare correspondence regarding records.File active and inactive records in accordance with established guidelines.Complete required portions of death certificates.Central SupplyAssist the Director with daily supply chain and inventory management.Ensure timely ordering, receiving, and distribution of medical and facility supplies.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient Central Supply Department.Deliver supplies throughout the facility and support staff with supply requests.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and coding preferred (not required).Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to multitask and support both medical records and supply functions effectively.BenefitsComprehensive Medical & Dental CoverageGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Recognition ProgramSupportive, team-oriented work environmentCompany perks and employee discountsApply TodayIf you are passionate about organization, accuracy, and making a positive impact in a healthcare setting, we’d love to hear from you.
