This is not a sales role—you will not be responsible for building your own book of business. Instead, you’ll focus on executing and managing shipments to ensure they move smoothly, on time, and cost-effectively.You’ll take ownership of shipment execution from start to finish, including scheduling, communication, and problem-solving, while partnering closely with teammates, carriers, and stakeholders. This team-based environment ensures you have support, shared knowledge, and collaboration, rather than working independently.This is a great opportunity for candidates who enjoy operational work, problem-solving, and teamwork in a fast-paced logistics environment.This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule and a hybrid work model (three days in office, two days remote), based out of our Rogers, AR office.What You’ll DoLeverage the Transportation Management System (TMS) to manage the full lifecycle of an order (load building, tendering, etc.)Ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance, exceeding expectationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with carriersExecute effective freight coverage and carrier selection, including routing guide execution and spot shipments with rate negotiationOptimize routing and consolidation strategies for cost and transit efficiencyMonitor and resolve shipment data errors proactivelyAnalyze performance to prevent service failures and drive continuous improvementRecommend and support service improvement initiatives aligned with transportation strategyCommunicate professionally and promptly with internal and external stakeholdersIdentify trends across shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend improvementsResolve carrier invoice discrepancies within TMS financialsTrain users on TMS workflows and best practicesDocument and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs)Apply knowledge of equipment types, market conditions, and shipment requirementsAct as a key intermediary in resolving issues between stakeholders and carriersBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent1+ year of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chainIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) or Google WorkspacePreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field2+ years of experience in transportation/logisticsBasic understanding of BI tools and Tableau reportingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google WorkspaceBenefits & Compensation For U.S. EmployeesEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
