GENERAL SUMMARY:Henry Ford Cornerstone Family Medicine - Romeo offers health screenings and care for illness and injuries. We listen to understand the health needs of your needs and deliver care that's right for you.Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate.Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM (no weekends, holidays, on call)Location: Henry Ford Cornerstone Family Medicine - Romeo 64580 Van Dyke Ave Suite C Washington, MI 48095Benefits: Full TimeEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.Bachelor's Degree preferred.Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.Preferred experience in the specialty.Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.EPIC or Athena experience preferredMinimum of 1 year experience at a Registered Nurse requiredCERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).Additional InformationOrganization: Henry Ford Medical GroupDepartment: Romeo Family PracticeShift: Day JobUnion Code: Not Applicable
