Local Store Marketing Specialist (Temporary Role)

Overall Job SummaryThis position supports the team responsible for planning, project managing, and executing Local Store Marketing initiatives in support of new store grand openings, competitive market strategies, and store-level events. This role partners with multiple cross-functional teams, external agencies, and field leadership across 2,300 Tractor Supply stores to ensure timely and accurate execution of marketing programs that drive traffic and sales.This position leverages data, market insights, and store-specific needs to support tailored marketing plans and ensures flawless execution across multiple concurrent projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)Support the planning and execution of Local Store Marketing initiatives including new store grand openings, re-grand openings (relocations and remodels), and competitive market supportDevelop and manage project timelines, task lists, and deliverables to ensure on-time and accurate execution across multiple projectsPartner with internal cross-functional teams including Media, Integrated Marketing, Merchandising, Store Communications, Real Estate, Loyalty, and PR to execute marketing programsCollaborate with external agency partners to develop and deliver creative assets, media plans, direct mail, radio, and promotional materialsSupport new store grand openings by coordinating marketing activities from pre-opening through post-opening, including store communications, promotional offers, and media executionCommunicate directly with Store Managers, District Managers, and Regional leadership to align on local marketing strategies and execution plansLeverage data and reporting tools to tier stores, identify competitive markets, and inform marketing strategiesMonitor competitor activity and support development and execution of localized marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales in competitive marketsExecute marketing deliverables including coupon creation, test scan sheets, point-of-purchase materials, email banners, social assets, and radio scriptsEnsure accuracy of marketing materials including store information, promotional details, and advertisementsSupport store-level events and community marketing initiatives as needed, including coordination of marketing assets and cross-functional alignmentOther projects and assignments as neededRequired QualificationsExperience:3 – 5 years’ experience in project management of marketing programs, preferably in a retail or multi-location marketing environmentEducation: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
