Mental Health Therapist

Job DescriptionEvergreen Behavioral Health is a growing private practice in South Salem seeking new clinicians. We are committed to prioritizing employee experience alongside the client experience. Our mission is to help children and families break out of the cycle of intergenerational trauma so that they can form healthy, strong attachments within their families and communities. We are seeking licensed clinicians who are specifically interested in providing treatment to those who have experienced trauma.Duties/Responsibilities:- Perform on-site clinical counseling services to patients of Evergreen as scheduled, in accordance with company policies.- Conduct clinical biopsychosocial assessments, provide appropriate quantitative measurements, and determine appropriate diagnoses for treatment planning.- Collaborate with clients and families on developing a treatment plan that includes measurable goals with evidence-based interventions.- Provide clinical, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment to clients and families, tailored to their needs and the current treatment plan. This includes individuals from diverse developmental, mental health, and cultural backgrounds, with a focus on those who have experienced childhood trauma or have a family history of it.- Maintain a caseload that includes at least 60% OHP.- Attend and participate in weekly group and individual supervision sessions.- Actively collaborate with other community members such as school counselors, primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and occupational therapists to promote the best client care.- Participate in training sessions for evidence-based treatments implemented in practice and demonstrate a strong desire to learn new or evolving modalities to maintain the best treatment options.- Ensure documentation is promptly completed in accordance with insurance standards.- Collect payments from patients for services provided where necessary.- Conduct counseling services in a professional manner to uphold and enhance Evergreen's goodwill and reputation.Qualifications:- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.- Licensed to practice in the state of Oregon (licensed and those working towards licensure eligible to apply-CSWA, LPC-A etc).- Experience working with children, teens, or adults in a direct practice setting.- Knowledge of evidence-based practices.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Values a team environment and continuing education.Preferred Experience:- Knowledge of trauma and trauma treatment, including EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT.- Special interest in working with children, adolescents, and families.Benefits:- Compensation based on level of experience and licensure status.- Flexible benefits packages available.- Flexible schedule options.- Billing and administrative support.- Training stipend.- Regular supervision provided.Join our incredible team at Evergreen Behavioral Health and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who have experienced trauma.
