This role is ideal for a security expert passionate about protecting enterprise networks, data, and systems against cyber threats. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, developing, and implementing advanced security measures to safeguard our infrastructure and data.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage security protocols to protect sensitive data and information.Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify, monitor, and mitigate potential security threats.Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).Monitor network traffic and system alerts to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.Manage and support intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and endpoint security solutions.Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure secure system configurations and best practices.Participate in incident response and forensics to investigate and resolve security incidents effectively.Conduct periodic audits and tests to ensure security frameworks are robust and up-to-date.Stay informed of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to enhance security policies continuously.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and vulnerability scanning tools.Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and security architecture.Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
