Grant Coordinator
Job Summary
This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications and network equipment. The position requires strong technical expertise in cabling, hardware installation, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair network and telecom equipment
Work with routers, switches, video systems, and communication devices
Perform cabling tasks including fiber, copper, and coax (splicing, testing, terminating)
Coordinate installations, upgrades, and repairs with vendors and internal teams
Support preventive maintenance and inventory tracking
Supervise vendor and contractor activities when required
Troubleshoot and resolve network and hardware issues
Required Qualifications & Skills
4+ years of Cable Technician experience OR 2+ years as a Lead Cable Technician
Experience with telecom cabling (fiber, copper, coax)
Hands-on experience with installation and maintenance of network equipment
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification
BICSI certification
Technical training in telecommunications, electronics, or related field
Pay: $27.00 per hour
