Akkodis is seeking a Sr. System Engineer with a Washington DC-based client to join their teamPay Range: $60-70/hr. on W2, the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factorsJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the migration from on-premises IronPort email security appliances to Proofpoint cloud-based email security, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to email services.Key Responsibilities & Requirements:Lead enterprise migration from IronPort to Proofpoint.Design, configure, and maintain Proofpoint as an enterprise email security solution.Manage Proofpoint firewall rules, block lists, and email quarantine/release requests.Strong knowledge of MTA, Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway, and PMG 8.x.Experience with Linux Server and VMware environments.Strong troubleshooting and enterprise systems administration skills.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
