QC Technician I - DallasThe Quality Control Technician I will be responsible for inspecting inbound/outbound raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.Production Inspection DutiesFollows sampling plans by applying variable and sequential sampling methods of all finished goods received.Inputs all sampling data results into the Company database and prepares reports on the data collected.Ensures orders meet customer specifications and requirements.Utilizes Company database systems to make necessary adjustments to inventory by tracking finished products for delivery.Combined DutiesInspects products and raw materials received from international vendors for all core product SKUs to validate compliance with Company and customer product specifications and requirements.Assists with resolving issues when needed.Other duties as assigned.Warehouse Inspection DutiesInspects products by comparing them to the item specifications found in Roll Out documentation, PD spec sheets, and the Warehouse Management System, ensuring that all requirements have been met.Updates the inbound inspection tracking spreadsheet on a daily basis.Communicates inbound inspection audit results to management in the event of a non-conformance.Inspects packaging components by comparing them to the item specifications.Ensures that all packaging component inspections are recorded with the proper data including the pass/fail results case quantity, inner packs, carton labels, bag types/quality, fold size/product size verified with measurements, price ticket and other packaging.Essential QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required1 year of experience working in Quality Control is required; textile industry experience is a plusExperience with AS-400, Logimax and Frontier computer database system is a plusProblem solving skillsBasic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic math skillsAbility to be flexible to changing requestsPhysical DemandsAble to occasionally lift objects weighing up to and including 50 poundsAble to occasionally carry objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds.Able to frequently bend, climb, crawl, kneel and/or squatAble to frequently push and/or pull objects weighing up to and including 50 poundsAble to walk and/or stand six hours a dayAbility to withstand prolonged periods sitting at a deskFrequent use of upper extremities to perform keyboard functions and work on a computerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
