Reporting to the COO, you'll own recruiting excellence, design thoughtful onboarding experiences, and build strong employee experiences that support our ~35-person team as we grow.This is a hands‑on builder role for someone who enjoys strategic thinking, creating structure from the early stages, and improving and iterating on processes as we grow. You'll partner closely with clinical leaders, operations teams, and executives to attract exceptional talent and build human‑centered systems that drive engagement and performance. You'll start with a primary focus on talent acquisition and candidate experience, then expand into broader employee experience, manager enablement, and people strategy over time.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Hiring: Own end‑to‑end recruiting strategy with particular emphasis on clinician and operations rolesOnboarding & New Employee Experience: Enhanced Nema's onboarding experience through refined 30/60/90 day frameworks that accelerate new hire success and belongingPeople Systems & Process Design: Optimize recruiting and people tools (ATS, HRIS, onboarding platforms) to support scale. Create documentation, templates, and playbooks that bring clarity and repeatability to people processesEmployee Experience & Engagement: Maintain a pulse on employee satisfaction through feedback systems driving recommendations for improvement.
